Daniela Castegnaro

Head of M&A

Senior executive with over twenty-five years of experience leading industrial companies across the chemical, agribusiness, and manufacturing sectors. With an MS in Electrical Engineering, she started her career in multinational chemical corporations, where she combined strong technical expertise with commercial development.
After roles at Dow Chemical, DuPont, and AkzoNobel, she joined Monsanto, where she held positions of increasing responsibility, eventually becoming CEO Italy and Business Director for Southern Europe and the Middle East in the seeds business, with responsibility for a region generating over $400 million in revenue.
In 2017, she chose to leave the world of large multinationals to join ECB Company as Chief Executive Officer. The company had just been acquired by the German group SARIA and operates in the production of circular-economy ingredients for the pet food industry. In this role, she led the company through a significant restructuring and profitability growth, expanding the product portfolio and strengthening its presence in international markets.
More recently, she served as Group Managing Director of Arrigoni SpA, an industrial group specializing in plastics and textiles for agriculture, where she led a transformation program focused on innovation, business development, and the optimization of manufacturing and supply-chain processes.
She is also actively involved as a mentor in initiatives dedicated to the professional development of young women and the promotion of female leadership.
At Mamazen, she serves as Head of M&A, where she focuses on maximizing growth and improving internal processes for startups on the path to exit.
